Disclaimer

Last updated: June 12, 2026. This page is written in plain language. It is not legal advice to Mentioned, Stromatic Labs, or any visitor. Have qualified counsel review the full product, app flow, marketing copy, and data pipeline.

What Mentioned is

Mentioned is an information service. It reads public online discussion and reports aggregate text signals: ticker mentions, repeated keywords, time windows, and suspected discussion surges. It does not read your brokerage account. It does not know your financial condition. It does not decide what you should buy, sell, hold, short, hedge, stake, lend, borrow, or avoid.

Mentioned output is a report about what people are saying in public. It is not a report about what a security, token, company, fund, or market will do next.

Not financial advice

Nothing on the site, in the app, in an email, in an alert, in a summary, or in any related product surface is investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, or a recommendation. Mentioned does not recommend transactions. Mentioned does not issue price targets. Mentioned does not rate securities or crypto assets. Mentioned does not tell you that any asset is suitable for you.

Do not use Mentioned as the sole basis for an investment or trading decision. If you trade or invest, you are responsible for your own research, risk controls, orders, tax consequences, and losses.

Not an adviser or broker

Mentioned and Stromatic Labs are not registered as investment advisers, broker-dealers, commodity trading advisers, commodity pool operators, financial planners, research analysts, exchanges, transfer agents, banks, custodians, or insurance producers. No advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, customer, or professional relationship is created by using the site, opening the app, joining the waitlist, paying for a tier, or reading an alert.

Labels on a website do not decide regulatory status. If the product changes, this analysis may change. Paid launch, crypto coverage, summaries, watchlists, and personalized alerts should be reviewed by qualified securities counsel before they ship.

Public discussion can be wrong

Public posts can be false, stale, sarcastic, promotional, manipulated, paid for, coordinated, incomplete, or written by people with undisclosed positions. Mentions can rise because of spam, jokes, rumors, news, bots, promotions, confusion, or one unusually active thread. A high mention count does not mean quality. A low mention count does not mean safety.

U.S. regulators regularly warn investors about investment scams and stock tips distributed through social media and group chats. See investor resources from Investor.gov on social media stock scams, FINRA on investment group imposter scams, and the SEC on social media and investment fraud.

Crypto and token risk

Crypto assets, tokens, and related products can be extremely volatile, illiquid, speculative, operationally fragile, and vulnerable to fraud. Some crypto asset markets may lack protections that apply in regulated securities markets. You can lose the full amount you put at risk.

For background, see FINRA's crypto asset risk overview and SEC investor alerts on crypto asset scams.

No guarantee of accuracy

Mentioned can be delayed, wrong, incomplete, duplicated, unavailable, or misclassified. Ticker extraction can create false positives. Keyword extraction can miss context. Summaries can omit facts or overstate patterns. Filters for spam, promotion, and coordination are imperfect. Source access can break without notice.

Mentioned does not guarantee uptime, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, market relevance, regulatory completeness, profitability, or fitness for any purpose.

No endorsement of third-party content

Mentioned may identify that a ticker, company, token, product, person, link, or topic appeared in public discussion. That does not mean Mentioned endorses it, verifies it, agrees with it, recommends it, or believes it is lawful, accurate, or complete. Third-party links and platform names are provided for context only.

Demo data and marketing examples

Some website panels are illustrative interface examples. They may use aggregate snapshots, stored data windows, simplified charts, or static reference values to show product shape. Panels are not live market data unless they are explicitly labeled as live. Waitlist counts are separate and come from the waitlist database.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for any trade, investment, tax filing, wallet transfer, account connection, alert configuration, or other action you take. Consult licensed professionals before making financial, legal, tax, or accounting decisions.
