Terms of Service
Last updated: August 6, 2026. These Terms govern use of Mentioned.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your access to the Mentioned website, app, updates list, emails, available alerts and summaries, data views, and related services provided by Stromatic Labs ("Mentioned," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Mentioned, joining the updates list, signing in, configuring alerts, or paying for a tier, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Mentioned. If you use Mentioned for a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
2. Information service only
Mentioned reports aggregate metrics from disclosed public data sources. The current mention lane reports source records with exact configured entity-name or GKG-theme matches for curated targets in GDELT Project source records; it does not retain or display article content, URLs, domains, titles, or publisher identities. Mentioned is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading adviser, commodity pool operator, exchange, bank, custodian, research analyst, or financial planner.
Mentioned does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, or trading advice. Mentioned does not recommend securities, crypto assets, tokens, funds, strategies, trades, wallets, exchanges, brokers, advisers, or transactions.
You are solely responsible for your decisions. Do not use Mentioned as the sole basis for any financial decision.
3. Market and data risk
Markets are risky. Public-source data can be false, duplicated, syndicated, promotional, manipulated, incomplete, stale, or wrong. Mentioned and its upstream sources can omit, duplicate, delay, or misclassify target references.
Mentioned does not guarantee that any available alert, keyword, summary, ticker count, token count, trend, score, filter, or model output is accurate, complete, timely, useful, lawful, or suitable for any purpose. For the current GDELT lane, “complete” describes receipt of all expected source intervals for the configured mapping and window—not complete coverage of the web, public discussion, markets, or every asset.
The current GDELT lane does not infer sentiment or causation or expose raw source keywords. It may provide Premium users with a limited set of recurring, service-allowlisted aggregate topic labels. For supported tracked stocks, Mentioned can evaluate an alert by comparing the latest six-hour measured count with the prior 42-hour baseline when the source window, alert authority, and chosen delivery destination are current and available. Crypto mention alerts are not currently available.
4. Crypto risk
Crypto assets and tokens can be extremely volatile and speculative. They can lose all value. Related venues, wallets, smart contracts, issuers, promoters, and counterparties can fail, be hacked, be unlawful, or disappear. Mentioned crypto coverage, if offered, is aggregate source reporting only.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use Mentioned where you live. You may not use Mentioned if doing so would violate law, regulation, a court order, a platform rule, an employer policy, or a contract that applies to you.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access at any time, including for abuse, suspected fraud, legal risk, platform risk, nonpayment, operational risk, or conduct that harms other users.
6. Accounts, updates, and paid access
You must provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your email, payment method, device, and other account details secure. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to secure your accounts.
Premium is offered as an automatically renewing monthly or annual subscription. The exact price, currency, billing period, included features, and any applicable taxes are shown before you confirm a purchase. Prices may differ by storefront or region. A valid Premium entitlement belongs to the signed-in Mentioned account used for the purchase or restoration.
In the iOS app, Apple bills your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the selected period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests under its policies and applicable law.
On the website, Stripe bills the payment method you provide and renews the subscription for the selected period until you cancel it through Mentioned's web billing portal. A normal cancellation stops future renewals and generally leaves Premium active through the already-paid period.
Refund eligibility for website subscriptions depends on applicable law and the circumstances of the charge. Contact us with the Mentioned account email and charge date to request a review; do not send payment-card details. Apple handles refund requests for App Store purchases under its policies and applicable law.
Deleting your Mentioned account deletes the linked Stripe customer and cancels any website subscription, so web Premium access may end immediately; account deletion does not itself issue a refund. Deleting the Mentioned account is permanent, and the deleted account cannot be recovered. To stop future renewals, cancel any active Apple-billed subscription separately in your Apple Account settings; you may still delete your Mentioned account immediately. Deletion does not cancel Apple billing, so Apple may continue billing until you cancel it. While the subscription is active, Premium remains tied to that Mentioned account and cannot be restored automatically to a different account. Contact support for ownership-verified subscription help. After the subscription fully expires and is no longer active, a later purchase or Restore Purchases may transfer it to a different Mentioned account.
We may change future pricing, tier names, features, and availability. Any price change to an existing subscription is handled by Apple or Stripe with the notice or consent required by the provider and applicable law.
Source-dependent features are available only when the relevant source lane and product surface mark them as available. The current GDELT aggregate lane provides aggregate counts and timing views and can provide Premium users with eligible recurring aggregate topic labels, but it does not expose raw source keywords. Supported tracked-stock alerts use the latest six-hour measured count and the prior 42-hour baseline only while the product marks that alert lane available. Crypto mention alerts are not currently available. Before purchasing, review the current plan description, source status, and feature availability shown in the product. A paid entitlement does not turn an unsupported source feature on.
If the referral program is available, a new account may link one referral code before its first Premium purchase and within the stated claim window. For the initial program, the referred member's first monthly purchase must remain paid and undisputed for 14 days before one 50%-off monthly reward becomes available to each eligible account. Rewards apply to one billing period, expire 12 months after they become available, and are limited to six qualifying referrals per referrer in a rolling 12-month period. Refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate or self-referrals, abuse, billing-provider conflicts, or ineligible subscriptions can void an undelivered reward. Referral rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred. You may still cancel a subscription at any time through its billing provider.
7. Community rules
You may not use Mentioned, any available alerts, or any Mentioned-operated community or support channel to run pumps, dumps, spam campaigns, paid promotions without disclosure, harassment, market manipulation, impersonation, credential theft, malware, illegal offers, or any other unlawful or abusive conduct.
You may not present Mentioned output as a recommendation from Mentioned. You may not imply that Mentioned endorses your trade, token, group, fund, product, or service.
8. Restrictions
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, resell, redistribute, or mirror Mentioned without permission.
- Bypass rate limits, access controls, paywalls, roles, or technical limits.
- Reverse engineer prompts, models, scoring systems, filters, or private APIs.
- Use Mentioned to build a competing dataset or service.
- Submit malicious code, misleading information, or automated abuse.
- Use Mentioned in violation of law or third-party platform rules.
9. Third-party services
Mentioned may rely on third-party platforms and providers, including hosting, analytics, email, database, payment processors, model providers, notification providers, and public data sources. Their outages, policy changes, pricing changes, API changes, or enforcement actions can affect Mentioned. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, links, or platform decisions.
GDELT Project is the disclosed public data source for the current aggregate mention lane. Mentioned is not affiliated with GDELT, does not control its source records, classifications, availability, or publication timing, and does not redistribute article content, URLs, domains, titles, or publisher identities from that lane.
10. Intellectual property
Mentioned, including its site, design, code, database structure, summaries, alerts, labels, scoring logic, and product names, is owned by Stromatic Labs or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Mentioned for your personal or internal business research. No other rights are granted.
11. Feedback
If you send ideas, bug reports, copy, feature requests, or other feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it without restriction or compensation to you.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mentioned is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant that Mentioned will meet your needs, prevent losses, identify fraud, detect every coordinated campaign when any compatible filtering feature is offered, produce profitable outcomes, or comply with every rule that may apply to your use case.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mentioned, Stromatic Labs, and their owners, operators, contributors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages; lost profits; trading losses; investment losses; lost data; lost goodwill; business interruption; or losses arising from reliance on Mentioned output.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Mentioned will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Mentioned in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or 100 U.S. dollars.
14. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mentioned, Stromatic Labs, and their owners, operators, contributors, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Mentioned, your trading or investment activity, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of third-party rights.
15. Changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Mentioned at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Courts may refuse to enforce some provisions in some jurisdictions. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.
