How this is measured

We read public posts from eight investing subreddits on a fixed cadence, extract and normalize ticker symbols, and screen them against a broad false-positive list so ordinary words, indices, currencies and forum slang don’t pollute the ranking. What’s left is counted and ranked. The same recurring keywords shown here anchor each ticker to the actual discussion, not a one-word market call. More detail on the methodology page.

Frequently asked

What is this leaderboard?
It ranks the stock tickers being mentioned most across eight public investing subreddits, with the recurring keywords driving each. It measures attention — how often a ticker comes up — not value. Information service, not financial advice.
How often does it update?
A fresh sweep of the source subreddits runs about every 30 minutes, and this page refreshes within roughly 15 minutes of each sweep, so the ranking reflects what's being discussed right now.
Where does the data come from?
Public posts from investing communities including r/wallstreetbets, r/stocks, r/options, r/investing, r/StockMarket, r/Daytrading, r/pennystocks and r/smallstreetbets. Ordinary words, indices, currencies and forum slang are filtered out so the feed isn't dominated by false positives.
Does a high mention count mean a stock will go up?
No. Mention volume is a measure of how much attention a ticker is getting, not a prediction of its price. Mentioned does not issue buy or sell recommendations or price targets. Not financial advice.
